The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt smartphone was launched in December 2017. It’s an entry-level smartphone which is an updated version of earlier launched J7 Nxt 2GB RAM/ 16 GB internal storage variant which is now priced Rs. 10, 490.

Because of high competition in Midrange devices from Xiaomi, Moto, Honor brands, Samsung pushed to increase the storage and RAM to compete in the market.

The all new Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is available in Gold and Black colors from both online and offline stores, at Rs. 12, 990.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt features a 5.5 inch ( 720×1280 pixel ) AMOLED display which brings bight and clear pictures. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box with Samsungs new UI on top and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phones load a 32GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to another 32GB using MicroSD card.

Camera

The other features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. In front have a 5 Megapixel shooter with a f/2.2 aperture. for wide angle selfies with LED flash for quality low light pictures.

Battery

It powers a 3,000 mAh battery with good backup on mixed use. The company claims to have an audio playback time of up to 82 hours, which can easily run for a day without any hassle with a screen time of around 3 to 3.5 hours

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is a Dual SIM smartphone ( both supports 4G ). As far as the connectivity features are concerned it includes WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, LTE. Sensors include the Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Verdict

Hows it, Do you recommend? If you are a Samsung lover and looking for a decent mid-range go for it. In specs, there’s nothing much improvement other than the updated 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The AMOLED display, battery, camera are good, but the Exynos 7870 chipset is outdated as other companies like Xiaomi, Moto, Honor are giving good hardware even for midranges.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt device is priced Rs. 12, 990 in India its a 32GB variant of earlier launched J7 Nxt which is now available for Rs. 10,490.If you are looking for an alternative option, Honor 7X is the best competitor and you can easily choose Honor 7X from a far distance.
